74 Center Console bolt holts?????

Default 74 Center Console bolt holes underneath?????
Guys - this is a pic of the underside of my center console for a 74
does anyone know what the two silver brackets are supposed to bolt to?

The cables for the vent controls go there. This is my 71' you can see it to the right.

Not used with an AC car. No vent cables.

The console is probably still built with the brackets (even if they are not used).
