Clicking on backup
Hi All new to the site and Vettes.Just bought my first one a 1980 full off body Resto. done,car in great shape.Lately noticed a Loud Click when backing up.NOT when I first engare the Tranny after the cars in gear and rolling back just one Click any ideas.Thanks Newfie

Have someone stand next to the car when you move it (rear area) to listen - it may be clicking but you cannot hear it. I had a similar problem with my '72. One of the rear axle joints (u-joint) was bad. I couldn't hear it in the car, but someone heard it when I began to move the car. Just a suggestion.
