Back when I had a spare tire and stock exhaust locations I used 3 inch in and out mufflers to give my 2.5 inch dual exhaust a deep healthy sound.
The top two pictures are with 3 inch chrome tips and the bottom are with 3.5 inch in and out mufflers with 4 inch tips. I have never heard it being raced out at the RR track. But some people have commented how nice and healthy it sounds. I also have the 4-7 revised firing order
