Well i have always wanted sidepipes on the vette just never had the money for it. Found a set that where alittle rough but was 400 for the headers and pipes!! Best header/exhaust install ever and the easiest
Hi 75 Y,
Although I prefer the original syle 69 pipes yours DO look really good. I can imagine how pleased you are now, after waiting to have them.
I wish your ears well. Ha Ha!!

Alan

I want the Carrera (QA-1's) up front to match the back, the Wilwood or Baer bolt on brakes, a couple of run flats to start that upgrade, a little interior work, and the cheapy non-adjust nitrous the pistons were chosen for, but sidepipes were a long, long wanted item - they look great!
Hey they look great wish I would have done them instead of stock set up. Maybe in the future. HEY this vett looks like the yellow one at the top corner of this page? Just funnin, take care.
Thanks guys! As far has the inserts i have no clue. Like a said i bought them used but i can tell you they are REALLY LOUD and way i can check to see what they might have in them?
I bought my '77 last year and some one at some point put the same pipes on. Yes they are loud with no inserts. It sounds like a Harley! I am concerned however that there is so little resistance/backpressure, you can here them acutally suck air when you let off the gas. I am not sure if or how this affects performance. Does anyone have any ideas. I was thinking that putting some inserts in might actually allow the engine to run smoother.
