Default engine temperature with performance mods

Hi, I'm new to the forum. My winter project is to freshen up my 1971 cp. with a 350ci - 270hp - 4sp. into a mild street performer with around 370 hp. I'll be adding hooker super comp ceramic headers. My concern is how much hotter will this engine run and should I be planning to do anything to help cool the engine?

If your cooling system is healthy and everything is sealed and working properly then your stock system will probably work okay.

If you do experience problems you might look into a DeWitts radiator.

If your car has A/C, it also has the larger radiator and should be quite capable of dumping the added heat. If not, you may need to go to a larger radiator. You also want to make sure that you have ALL of the fan shroud pieces and seals, so that the fan is pulling through an adequate amount of cooling air (check the AIM for your car; UPC 13, A5/6; and UPC LS5, B5/6).
