Sounds like you found good help, Hope he isn't charging too much. Good to hear good progress just might be on its way.
Nope, didn't charge me an arm & a leg. I was really glad about that. (about what it would have been for a tow bill to a local garage, no mechanic work or return tow included) If anybody local want his number just E-mail me.
Looks like the rotor swap, side project, I've been working on has hit a snag so I'll be coming back to this here in a few days & I can start going down that list.
I looked on my car and the green wire goes to the temp probe screwed into the head
OK, I don't need that wire then because I ran a wire directly from the temp gauge through the firewall to the sensor I relocated on the front of the manifold. Thanks, thats one obstacle down.

I have been doing electrical work since i was 10 yrs. old working with dad on side jobs. I was a contractor since i was 25 yrs. old. Car electrical ac/dc drives me crazy but, whenever that many things are going wrong you have a loose or disconnected ground that allows power to cause everything to act this way.
You need professional help. You said you're hard headed and after reading this one of the craziest threads I've ever seen I'll have to agree.
If you don't get this wired correctly you will have problems till you want to take a sledge hammer to the car.
I am a mostly alternating current type electrician that worked on milivolts to 66,000 volts that is very different but whenever i had crazy things like this happen it was a neutral that came loose which is very similar to what your going through.
Check every ground and make sure it's going where it's supposed to.
When i was contracting allot of the work i got was when somebody had tried to fix or install something they didn't have a clue as to what they were doing.
I've come behind so many house fire because somebody tried to do electrical work.
Clint Eastwood once said in a movie "a man has to know his limitations".
Take this car to a professional, get it fixed and then just enjoy the car.
You should get into making movies because i enjoyed them and you have a talent there.
Good luck my friend and find where your limitations end and stop there.
A good Corvette shop has all the right schematics to wire this car properly. I have to admit that i have run into crazy problems and never was hard headed enough not to ask one of my electrical buddies to give me a hand.
Its taken some time but I've found a pro & vette owner who is helping me. It takes quite a bit for me to bring some one else in to work on the car for me but with this fiberglass car, I've realized my limitations with it & had to get help. I've been stuck on it a while but I'm just now starting to get back to making progress with it.
