Default oil line fitting on block

I ordered a new brass oil line fitting that threads into the block just behing the dist on a 71 350

The hole on the underside was noticably larger on the new one from the old one.

Seems like this will affect the oil pressure reading???

Any one know if that is the case?

Thanks
David

This will not change the reading on the gauge. You'll be fine.

pipe sizing doesnt change pressure. only restricts/improves flow which doesnt matter here.

Hey Alan , how are you friend?

Well they have finally started going back on the car. Things like ..

Wiper motor

Vac tank

Had to send your neighbor Mr Macneish about 400.00 today.

Man I hope this intake looks worth that $$$$

I have a business trip to Houston TX coming up so I will loose some time there.

I guess I am shooting for a March finish and then I will have a few weeks to correct any bugs before the April Cruise ins start.

As for Jessica , She feels better now that some parts are going back.

Thanks
David
