I have my headlight assemblies out of my 72 coupe and I am going to be doing some disassembly to clean and paint. With the assembly out of the car is there a way to test the system? can I use my air compressor to blow air into the actuator or do I need to get a hand held vacuum pump? Any ideas?
Good news... I am getting closer to being ready for the repaint.
Hi S,
I bought a Mity-Vac and found it very useful for working on both the the lights and wipers on 68-72 cars.
I also recommend Dr.R's Trouble Shooting Guide. It has instructions for testing each component in both systems.

Alan
