Widshield frame finish question

Widshield frame finish question
Is the windshield frame finish supposed to be gloss, semi, or flat black? It is coated with POR-15 now but I need to protect it from the sun or it will discolor.

I've always used the semi-gloss on them. Or better yet, the GM restoration paint and primer. It may look just a little more glossy than the picture you posted. I should get some good pictures tomorrow, we just painted it on Friday. I could be wrong on this so correct me if needed.
I'm also doing a new Help and repair page for the site on this about replacement of the upper header and corners. It will be one of the longer ones that I've done so far. I think it's up to 10 pages already and I'm still working on it.
I got some real good pictures that should be able to help most people when doing this repair.
