I just bought a set of pro comp 210cc intake runner heads and I love them. I put them on a 350 gone into a 51 mercury. I havnt put it down a track yet but in the driveway it sure seems sweet. I got em on ebay from another dealer and he even swapped out for stiffer valve springs no charge. I cant speak for the dealer but the product is an awesome deal

arneoe -
Sorry, I just can no longer keep up with this thread and stay quiet.
First you asked for comments and opinions. Then you were unhappy with some of the reponses - many of which were intended to be constructive.
Now you say that this has been a most unpleasant experience and that you would rather be using your time working on your heads in your shop instead of countering the people who do not agree with you.
Would you like to keep poking a sharp stick in your eye? I seems to me that you are the one who keeps coming back with argumentative responses to keep this confrontation ongoing. My advice is to buy whatever you want to buy, use it however you wish, and stop trying to change the rest of the world and get on with your own business.
Terry.

Hi Terry,

I don't agree with you!! He specifically asks for people who used the heads and not to discuss other brands. Most responses are from people who never used them and end with "Buy American" (meaning AFR, Brodix etc).

Furthermore, you can skip this threat if you can't agree with the content or just can't be bothered or if Chinese isn't your thing. The "change the rest of the world" in my opinion is from the few members who just keep posting without any foundation other then it's not American so it must be crap.

Most of you should just sit back and relax and see where these heads bring Arne. Either you learn that a fellow member and Corvette enthusiast has a kick *** new motor in his ride OR you have the laugh of your life because the Chinese prophecy has been for filled.

For me I am interested in the results and hope Arne keeps on posting.

You misunderstand my comment (as arneoe has repeatedly done to others). There was no threat. The sharp stick in the eye is an idiom - that is to say - an expression where the words are not intended to be taken literally. But then, maybe that is an American thing too.
Best Regards,
Terry

This is a joint venture between GM and a chinese company. GM quality control will definitly be working OT to make sure this is not a warrantee nightmare and the manufacturer is directly accountable to GM.
No warrantee problems with the Pro Comp heads..................Cause there is no warrantee or accountability. Crank them out and sell them cheap.

Hi Wayne -
I think you are no better than the rest of us. Get real. If your C3 stays as build, you probably will be safe. Your C3 is heavily modified and I bet you have installed a few Chinese parts.... I see you use Eagle stroker rods, they are crap? Will you take a few blasts down the 1/4 mile with those babies?? Forged in China. Sized and finished in the United States. ...I would have bought Eagle parts myself ... I use Scat and I am pleased with mine... but both brands sell china-parts. A.

I thought you were building a motor, not going thru my parts list with a fine tooth comb looking for something that you think is Chinese when in fact it is a product of the USA.

There is a big difference between my rods and heads that were copied from companies that spent millions of dollars in research and development.

The Chinese take these parts, copy them and put out something that looks like the real thing when in fact most of the time it doesn't work properly. Designed in China, made in China and sold from China who you gonna call when they blow up. At least I know my rods were finished machined, x rayed and sold here.

I have had my motor up to 6500-7000RPM's many times and have the confidence in the parts to withstand that. I wouldn't want to be any where near a motor at 7000RPM with CHinese heads

When I worked in the High Tech sector I designed a 8 layer circuit board with over 100 different parts on it. It was part of a telephone network called a multiplexer. We got one back that didn't work, we couldn't understand what was wrong with it. I designed the f'ing thing I couldn't even tell it was a Chinese copy

So just build your motor and let us know how the heads works out, if you can be objective and honest about that

my bb had a many visits to 7000 and a few to 8000 where the rev limiter was... Just build to suit your needs and assume risk that you are willing to take.
