Low Oil Pressure?
My Oil pressure gauge is staying around 15-20 full time. Occasionally the gauge needs drops sharply to 0 and then jumps back up to 20 which leads me to believe there could be something wrong with the gauge.
Main trouble places for oil leaks in the C3? Oil sending unit, pump? Any good, quick, easy tests to do to find out what the problem is? Gauge troubleshooting? Thanks.

I have a BB 1969, with 73K miles. My guage was at 0 when idle. when I would drive it would go to 20-25. I had it serviced by a well known corvette specialist in Wisconsin. He rebuilt the guage and know it reads perfect. ( he fixed only the guage)

Ended up being dangerously low on oil. Sometimes we get so caught up in the advanced things we forget to check the simple things. Exhaust not showing blue and doesn't smell like it's burning oil and no noticeable oil leaks, must've been low when I bought it. ::shake fist:: why did I trust that old man when he said the fluids were fine? :P
