Has any one out there installed these on thier c3 if so did you replace all the gauges or just the faces I have heard that you can just buy the face and glue them onto the existing gauge. but dispite my efforts I can't find a site out there that sells them.
Thanks for any info.

I know there are a couple of members who put in new guages, not just new faces. One of the issues is what to do with the turn signal and high beam indicators. I like your idea of just replacing the faces and then maybe they could be modified.
I have installed Autometer Phantoms in my car - not just faces. So far as the turn signal indicators and the like you can keep the originals with a little creative wiring.
Part of my install included the Autometer Tri-Alert box which allows me to set warning lights to any electrical short sweep gauge. So Now I have a functional low Fuel level light, a high temp warning light and a low voltage light... The oil pressure gauge I installed is mechanical for accuracy so no warning light on it.
You can get the instructions for the install http://earchitect.50megs.com/corvette/gauge.htm - i wish there were more pictures of the install. Actually I wish there were any pictures, I didnt have a digital camera then.
>>Olivier: Gauges look good. What did you do for the turn signal indicators and high beam?
At the moment I don't have a turn signal and high beam indicator. However - I am planning to put the
indicators into the center gauge bezel. I want to put the turn signal indicator where the seat belt/headlamp
indicators were. The high beam indicator I want to put where the seat belt indicator override switch was.
I really don't need the seat belt indicator or the hadlamp indicator (I don't have pop up headlamps)
In the last empty spot on the center gauge bezel I will leave the parking brake indicator.
I am very busy at work and don't have too much time to work on my Vettes recently!
