Default Convert tach to electronic

Does anyone know of a link or how to convert a mechanical (1971) tach to electronic?

Cheepest/quickest way is to find a good tach from a 75-77 and it's a plug in change...just run the pink wire to any source that's hot when engine is running....a wire to the tach output, through a tach filter.....and of course a ground....

the tach filter is just a network built from Radio shack parts....

no biggie...

You can move the 71 tach face over to the 75-77 movement. That way you get the original green numerals and red-line.

I had mine converted by someone here on the forum. works much better than the cable driven one.

If you do a search on Tach filter it should pull up any additonal info you need.
