I need some pics of a modified 68 to 72 vette that does not have the front bumper, not just taken off but the body lines smoothed out.
I want to know how they hide the center bumper support.
This was my brothers vette and he passed away 12 years a go so I dont know but do know he bought it like this. He had bought the car in 75 and it was like this, with flares no front bumper and a special grill that I never seen before.
I will take pics so you all can give me ideas.
Here are some pics of the front end, no bumper.
The first is the shape of the front end.
next is the cutout for the front bumper support or hood support?
Next is the grill that was in it since 1975 when he bought the car.
I dont want the center support visable ,
ANY IDEAS
Hi Tom,
Doesn't the opening left in the center need to be glassed in? Since the body work seems pretty far along I'm wondering why that opening was left.
It also 'looks' like the 2 openings in the lower valance panel have been filled. GM added these to help stop the early cars from running hot.
I also wonder where the parking lights and directional signals are going to be.
Regards,
Alan
