I am running a #8 line down to the Walbro pump and the nover to a fine Micron filter and a #6 line up to the fuel rails. This is for a Mass Flo system.
Gordon,
Do you have any type of sock or screen prior to your pump? I've heard you should, but I don't know who makes one or where to get it. Anyone out there have a part number?
i got a stainless steel gas tank with an internal electric fuel pump installed from rock valley. here is an old link to my write up from a while back. its kinda brief and has a few pictures and i link to rock valley.

No sock or anything. Just an open drain to the pump. My tank is new and clean so as long as I don't dump anything crappy in I should be OK. I talked to Chris at Mass Flo and he did not really recomend anything. The filter after is a very fine micron filter.
The Walbro pump I do not have enough time with it yet. The reviews I have heard are very good with the pump. Not noisy at all.
I've welded a sump in the bottom of the tank with a #8 feed to a Aeromotive pump. From the pump to the fuel rails and return its #6 with an efi filter prior to the fuel rails.
My tank is not new and had some rust on the outside so I didn't want to take any chances. I added a pre-filter that I picked off the rack at AutoZone (FF3504/G481).
Hey gordon, have you had any issues with your system? I think I'll do a silimlar setup.
Nothing so far. I don't have many miles on it yet. I do have one complaint. Do not use Russell braided lies. They stink. Yes the smell is bad. For some reason the gas smell comes through the lines. I have talked to others with the same problem. They switched to Aeroquip and the smell went away. This coming weekend I am changing out all the Russell lines t oAeroquip. I think I am going to put in some more hard line and keep the braided line run to 2 feet or less. I chenged the one #8 line from the tank to the pump and it no longer smells. I have the Russell on my workbench and even after sitting for 1 week it still smells like it was dunked in gas.
