Can anyone tell me if there is a easy way to get the windshield and rear window trim off without ruining it?

There is a removal tool that you can pick up at an auto store. It looks like a small curved T with a V shape in the ends. You can remove it with it carefully and re-use it.

You slide the tool between the molding and the glass. You feel for the clip with the tip and then rock it to open the clip up to release the molding.
