Throw away that mity-vac thing, and get yourself a Motive power-bleeder, it will be the best $60 you have ever paid for your vette. I can bleed my brakes alone and get a rock hard pedal in less than 10 min.
I tried all the methods, speed bleeders, wife pumping peddle, Phoenix bleeder, etc. I bought the power bleeder and as the quote says --- rock hard in 10 minutes and it stays that way. Honestly, if you have bled the heck out of the brakes and still air, there is a problem, or you have aireated fluid in the lines and need to flush all out. Good luck.
