Which manifold is it? What is going to be your carb/air cleaner set up? I see you have a late 70's style hood, and I'm always interested in what will fit under it.

Jenny went with the Weiand Stealth. However, I have a Performer RPM with 3" K&N element under the stock L-82 hood. I used a drop base air cleaner and a low profile flat top lid. One of these days I'll post pics. Just wanted to let you know one thing that will fit for sure.

Cool, now you can bolt that carb on :D . Jen, I am thinking you will like the whole setup a lot better if you get that vacuum advance HEI and a decent cam and pipes. I can see the future (beyond the motor)....next step...converter and gears :D .

That might be why your car's running so funny, Jen, you gotta take the intake out of the box before you put it on the car, you know! Next time, don't be in such a hurry to put parts on. :)

Yes, definitely!! It's gonna get soaked tomorrow and rebuilt on sunday, that's our schedule. I'm very excited. carb looks very nice. I think once everything is hooked up she'll be running a lot better. :)
