Default Reinstalling Engine

I pulled the short block out to have it rebuilt. Disassembled intake and heads in the car. I am planning on reassembling it on a stand with Edel. aluminum heads and intake. is there going to be a safe lifting point or should I install the heads and intake in the car? I figure it will be alot easier to assemble and adjust lifters on a stand, and then install it as an assembly. Looking for suggestions.

Install it all back on the engine. You can lift it by the heads or even a carb flange. A lot here me included do not like the carb flange but it does hold up. Much easier to assemble on the stand.

I wouldn't hesitate lifting from the heads or intake on the cast set up. But wasn't sure if the aluminum was strong enough. Thanks Guy's

Putting everything together on the stand also lessens the chance of scratching a painted surface while leaning over it or dropping a tool or something on a fender.
If you are getting anywhere close to the age I am, it also saves your back so you will be able to straighten up when getting out of bed the next morning.
