Right I have a 383 with flat top piston with 2 valve relief,230/230 cam and home ported heads ( 882) .Not sure how this will run on the street
still putting car together .Thinking what I have been reading I can go with 190cc/64 cc chamblers 2.02 /160 valves if I go that route will that put me out of pump gas range?

Not certain with the flat top pistons, I am running D-dished with 65 cc, 2.05/1.6, 195 heads and it is a sweet setup.
I did a set of 882 heads once on a 327 and was not happy with the results. Needed more compression.
I know I will be dating myself, but how is everything in Avon Park ? I graduated high school there in 1963.

Thanks Little Mouse the info you gave is going to be a big help.
Phil don't when the last time you been in Avon Park but it has grown .I came thru in 91 and drove straight thru no lights came back in 03 and now lights and traffic.US 27 full of stores . Again thanks for the info guys
