Cross Shaft Return Spring
Need some directions or a picture of where the firewall side of the cross shaft return spring hooks too on a 71.
Looked at a friends 66, and he has a hook on the firewall, I don't see one on my 71.

There's a tab on the firewall. The plate the steering column comes thru, lower left side. Kind of a bump in the edge of the plate with a hole in it. PITA to get the spring thru on my 69. I put it in on the back end first and then hook it to the z-bar

The hole is so small and at an angle in the flange that it's hard to find if you don't know just where to look. It's easier to find from below even with std. brakes.
