Vin number

WHERE IS THE VIN NUMBER ON THE FRAME,GOT BODY OFF CAN'T FIND VIN

Top of the rear frame rail,near the gas tank,I can't recall what side but I think left.If your frame is real rusty,you may not be able to see it,the stamping is somewhat weak.

The VIN derivative is stamped in two locations on the left side frame rail. The first location is near the #3 body mount and the second is above the half shaft.

There was another thread about VIN locations a few days ago that has pictures of the numbers on the frame
