Is this" BUBBA'd"??
I have been struggling with my steering column that has been documented in this post. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-t...lp-needed.html
The only solution to my problem, that I could figure out...was to get another shaft that connects the lock cylinder to the sector gear from a friend of mine. I heated it up and turned it about 1/8 of a turn counter clockwise and installed it in the column. When I tried all positions on the switch...they all work properly!!! Should I reassemble the column and drive it?? I hate to "BUBBA" anything, but it was the only solution I could come up with.
Flame suit on and zipped!!!!!
