In your hp range a Victor Jr with a drop base air cleaner would be your best bet.

Why are you going backwards. The EFI system will run much better if it is setup and tuned correctly.
What is your motor setup right now?

I have not personally tried it.
Do a search on the forum for posts by 'Motorhead'.
He is running a Vic Jr and has posted many pics of it.

Before FI I ran a Victor Jr on my motor. The early C3s had less hood clearance than the later ones so you should clear fine with a drop base air cleaner.

I've run an RPM, and Vic Jr with drop base air filters, and though it took a bit of tweaking, managed a nice billet oval on the RPM I'm running now.
