GM Crate engines
Is it possible to find a GM crate engine that uses the '86+ engine block with a 1 piece rear main seal and a roller cam with Vortec heads that isn't a truck application?
Can GM crate engines be special ordered to a customers specifications? Or, do you just have to pick out the individual components and have them assembled locally?
I ask because my brother in law can get a hefty discount on GM parts, all I need to provide him with are part numbers.

You might also talk to Scoggin Dickey, they built a custom zz454/zz502 hybrid short block for me which will be powering my 79 soon
I also had it in 2 weeks vs the weeks and months of delays and headaches I hear of from some of the builders out there.
