I had an unknown Rochester on my 72 454. I tried to get a rebuild kit for it and everyone said it had to have a S/N or PN (which mine did not). One guy argued with me so much on the phone that I took the carb off the car and drove to the FLAPS to show him it had no ID numbers.

His response...."hmmmmm. It doesn't have any numbers on it. I can't help you then."

I finally bought a rebuilt Q-Jet from Auto Zone for my engine/trans combo and turned in my old one for the core.
