Headlight question
Still fighting headlights not working. All other lights work.
Looks like one of the headlight warning switches is damaged. If it were could it cause the problem?
The easiest thing to check first is for power on the lt blue wire at the dimmer switch-- if there is NO power at the lt blue then check the red at the headlight switch.
I am not at home so I dont have access to my own diagrams and have been using some of these free on line diagrams http://www.nrjvette.com/johdotukset/?c=d;o=d
Usually the headlight circuit is protected by its own fusible link and if it blows it shuts down only the headlight beams. By the online diagram I cant seem to find a headlight dedicated fusible link. Do yourself a big favor and get a DocRebuild wiring diagram. It will allow you to hone in on the exact problem.
Reconnected the dimmer connector and now the lights work.
You are magic DWncchs.
Thanks.
A bad contact after only 34 years. Whats the world coming to?
I did order the wiring diagrams you suggested. Those look great.
