These new 335R 275F Kumho’s tires and they really work nice. It actually give an old C-3 Vette amazing cornering power. In a straight line once you are moving they can take on full throttle in my 2-3 gears. They are the first street tire that I can say that really grab the pavement. The strain on all the u-joints must be fantastic. I also decided to take on some freeway on and off ramp turns to see at what point my vette totally breaks loose. The Kumhos actually cause a squealing noise near the limit. Very predictable when it went into total loss of traction nearly at the same time on all four tires. All I did was to let off the part throttle and the tires regained traction and I was on my way again. I was concerned with Over steer and understeer of not knowing how such big tires would react on my Vette. I was very pleased to find that my setup is so neutral. I could induce front end push with to high of corner entry speed, but then I could use the throttle to bring the rear around for a full 4 wheel drift.
I was having so much fun that I thought a cop would show to rain on my driving. I had one come out of no where when I got on a slow side street and I fully expected the lights to come on because I wasn't sure if had seen or heard me running it through the gears
I need a G-Tech meter to really see what forces I’m generating. Any of you guys own one or could recommend a model. I'd really like something that could actually record while doing laps at the local 4.2 mile road racing track.
I have one of the old original style from 7 or 8 years ago. It worked OK, but it wouldn't record anything other than a max value. It only measured decel/accel not lateral G's. I think Summit/Jegs sell real time G-force data collection systems which is what you will probably need.
I was looking at the G-Tech Pro EGS and it looks pretty sick. All digital and you can record and replay 4 different things. I cant remember what all it does... different color choices and the shift light is a sequence of 4 lights... 3 small and the main. Almost everything is adjustable...... grr I might get one depends on how hard it is to install.

I've been thinking about a shift light. On their sight they have a road race model
