Default need interior picture asap!!

I want to get insurance this week. I need an interior picture to send the insurance company. If you have a black interior and a red or burgundy car please send me one. I just dont want them to complain that its not done and has a roll cage. The door panels I have look like crap and so do the seats. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. L79racer@aol.com

Sooner or later they would pick it up. Why put someone else and yourself in a bad situation to begin with?

What would you think if the Insurance Company didn't tell you the truth about what your coverage was?
Art's comments are right on.

I'm gonna throw my 2 cents worth in here....I'm not being noble at all. It's actually more pragmatic and selfish. Don't you realize that WE pay for everyone who commits insurance fraud? Helping someone commit insurance fraud is just biting your own nose off!

Your mistaken. Insurance fraud like you say would be me smashing my high mileage, unpainted car and then asking for pictures of a show car to get more money from the insurance company or taking it apart and claiming it stolen. I am not looking to save money or trick them that my car is better than it is. I just didnt want them to see the cage and reject my application. Most insurance companies say no insurance for cars in timed events. So when they see the cage the say why do you need or have it? I'm sending they exterior shots of the car with unpainted hood and t tops. Sending a picture of a nice fresh paint job from somebody else' car would be wrong. Do you understand?

So goes the way of the world.... I do what I want, regardless of fairness, integrity, and legality or how it may impact anyone else. This is what "enlightened, modern society" can do for us. It really was a lot different 50 years ago. Now, all that is important is $$$$$$....

I'm sure you have your air pump on your Vette because removing it would be illegal and I'm sure YOU wouldnt do that.

Let me get this straight: You want a picture of somebody else's car, because the insurance company might not want to cover your car as it is....And this isn't fraud? All racing bodies (NASCAR, Indy, etc.) require insurance. You can find insurance for your part-time track car if you're willing to pay for it. If you want the rest of us to pay for it, then go ahead and misrepresent your car to the insurance company. Just don't ask the rest of us to help you!

You too must still have your air pump on your car. You wouldnt want to mess with the emissions laws either right? I didnt ask for somebody elses car or for you to pay for anything.

Dude, you are thick. If you send them a picture of someone else' interior and let them think it's yours, it's fraud. Plain and simple.

If you can't be up front about the roll cage with them and ask for a rider to cover it, it's fraud plain and simple.

No, I don't have the air pump, some previous owner took it off and I haven't found the correct one to purchase.

In any case, pumping clean air into the exhaust system doesn't reduce emissions, it dilutes them, but there are still the same amount of particulates as there always was. Therefore, nothing has been done to my car that makes it pollute more now than when it was new.

And I sent pictures of my own car to the insurance company along with a copy of my appraisal and asked them if they would cover it for the amount I wanted them to. They agreed and told me how much it would cost and that was that. No fraud.

Default roll cage

L82 racer,Yes there a lot of good people here on the forum and is no reason to go off on them at your request.I am not going to attack you. But if you were to show your insurance company photos of the car the way it is and tell them that you are not going to race it in timed events. You purchased it that way and you are going to restore it to some degree of finished and you are going for that look and you might add that the roll cage makes it a safer car to drive. I had a roll cage in one of my past cars and my insurance company did not penalize me for it and they knew it was installed in the car. I would think your driving record is more the issue that they would look at.Good luck

By the way, anytime someone commits fraud it causes insurance rates to go up and we all pay for it so don't come off like your not asking anyone to pay for anything.
