Hello Friends,
I found this part/piece on the driver's side floorboard. i have been doing some rewiring etc and just noticed it and do not know what or where it goes. I apologize for the lack of clarity.
Thanks,
andy

Hi Andy,
It doesn't look familiar to me. Sorry!
Is that a rivet head on the left, and is it a machine thread or a self tapping thread on the right?
Regards,
Alan

I just got lucky Alan.
I figured where it was found narrowed down the area it could've come from and having a spare drivers side dash pad made it easy to track down.

I agree with Alan
DZRick must be the GM guy that designed that part to nail it that fast.

If I was a GM guy I'd be rich and retired instead of poor and just plain tired.

As proven by the 1st post those tabs are removable, it just takes 30 to 40 years to get them off.
