Two positives I found: Chassis seems stiffer as the engine becomes a stress member. I don't have exhaust leaks as engine/exhaust doesn't move within chassis.
Yes I liked the way it made the chassis feel much more solid and tied together. There is also instant throttle response as the motor doesn't move first when you press the gas. I liked everything about the solids except the clunking between gears.
So, question for all of you who have replaced your motor mounts (poly or solid):
Is it possible to replace the stock ones without really removing the engine? Can you jack up the engine a little, with a floor jack to provide clearance and insert the solids?
