more l-88 questions

I finally found an l-88 hood. It has the airbox and I want to make it functional. I have a 71 small block that I am going to install an lt-1 intake on. What parts will I need to make this work? I know about the filter, the base to hood seal, the small lid and screen. How different is the air cleaner base than a regular factory open element? I am using a holley with the factory holley open element base. Could I just put the foam seal around my current base? Thanks for any help.

Hi BB,
The info I looked at indicates the base is the same for 427 (except 3x2), 396, L-88 and LT-! engines.
