this is how my 79 looked when I brought it home...wheels were beat so I swapped them out, but I loved the look...
OK.....Now you're killing me...That's my Vette with Keystone Classics on it .....Seriously...I may be interested in buying them if all of the center caps are in good shape and the chrome is still good...No pitting or very little that is....Let me know...
BRNGRHD,
Looks great man. I'm glad you finally got it on the road. Honestly, your post on the 4 link kit way back is what helped me get back to racing my car again. Have fun with it!

Were the dyno numbers with or without the NOx?
Very nice looking car and congrats. I do think the nitrous is a bet of overkill. Hope you enjoy driving it now and keep us posted if u get it to the strip.
Why such a small cam. With those heads and intake combo you should be making into the 630+ HP range. You hardly need a converter with that kind of duration numbers. Something in the 240s @ .050 would still be very streetable and that converter would work well. Is it a flat tappet or roller cam? Good numbers but the rest of the motor and car can use more cam.
The low profile tripower intake might limit what he can pull out of this combo and is probably better matched to a hydraulic roller. The HR cam is pulling to 5800 RPM and only drops 9 HP at 6000 RPM. It is under 10 to 1 compression too. 6000 RPM is all he will get out of a hydraulic roller anyway so it looks like he is making the most of what is available to him. Could pull better peak numbers with a tighter LSA but his nitrous will love that 112, torque is pretty flat and powerband is wide, good match for an automatic. a solid roller would pull harder but it looks like a durable, low maintanance, well designed build. Look at that low and midrange torque! And he don't have to wind the **** out of it to get the power.
BTW I love tripowers.
Any nitrous dyno testing to be done?
My 383 tripower has a nitrous plate setup as well.
Well, it's good to see after all that time and money that your alternator is "good", as written on the top of it in the pic. Run out of money when the electrical time came?
I'm just rattlin yer cage, it looks really good, has plenty of power, and I'm just a bit jealous, it the truth be told.
I've got my 69 back on blocks again after putting it down, going for a test drive and the pedal went to the floor. I've got caliper rebuild stuff. I've already previously installed a booster and master cylinder, so I hope the calipers do the trick. It's pretty nasty inside the calipers. And, no, I don't have the money for SS sleeved right now.
