Just noticed you are from Dane WI.
Friggin copper in a chopper got me going WAAAAY over the limit in a Porsche there. (dane county) Radioed down to the state trooper on the ground. Big ticket! They wanted to keep me there. Been 20 years ago. Paid rediculous insurance for many years for that one. Keep your eye on the sky when your driving the vette.

LOL you guys are great.... i really love driving the car it drives so nice on the street. There are some changes coming for next year... as much as i like the look of the tri-power i think it is going to have to go..... since the guy i bought it from or the guy he bought it from switched it over to manul secondaries you can not flat foot it out of the hole it is bogs a fair amount. on the street that is fine because your blowing the tires off anyway but at the track that will not be tolerated.... so it is going to an RPM air gap and then direct port on the nitrous. some people told me to go to a Victor Jr but that is, for my combo and needs, just too much intake. this is a street car that will go to the strip. I do need softer springs bad my 200's are just crazy stiff.

I don't know how nitrous would would work with vacuum...

I think any of the suppliers have the pods and diaphragm and linkage. I may have an extra set of pods and diaphragms, have to check.

Are the vacuum ports sealed on the outboard carbs?

You can get the tripower to work with a progressive linkage! Don't give up on it. Mine took a lot of trial and error but I got it. This is my second setup. You will probably give up a little power but the nitrous will make it up.

Go with the Vic Jr I had one on my 355ci and it made more HP and Tq than the Air Gap. The Air Gap is nice manifold but if you are going to spray it I would go with the Vic Jr.

the thing about your setup is that i only have one acc pump.... you have three right? i already converted it to a 50cc pump bigger squirter and it still is not going to work at the track.... on the street it is fine because it can't hook 1/2 throttle i would need to buy another 500cfm 4412 style carb and mill off half the air cleaner base to make it look and fit like the stocker does.... and then install a 50cc pump on that one, then hope that it works.... that is the problem with the combo that i have.... im not saying that i can't get it to work but i don't think it is going to work as well as a single 4 in the long run.

im going to spray it direct port so the RPM should be better all around as my motor is a pretty mild combo that intake will make it very fun on the street and the nitrous will be a monster on the strip.

think the 50CC is too much for the center carb..i tried the larger unit and went back to the std one.

My tri power works great with the solid roller....no bogs, I can stomp on it going 1000r's in 5th with no bogs no stumble, it just takes off like a raped ape

i agree if i had the vac secondaries then yes the 50cc would be too big but since i have all 6 opening as soon as i hit the loud pedal..... i have a lean bog not a rich bog....
