ok so the guy who ownes the 305 told me he has an 327 also in the back that he would part with for $300
now what all did it come on in 1962 (may be later block) and what were the HP ratings along with the Heads used on the Beast?

it dose put out about the same power band as the 305 i configured out.

If it is a 62 it is definitly a small jurnal. I'm pretty sure up to 66 was small journal. 67 started the large journal. Most if not all of the early 327 cranks were forged, I may be mistaken on this but I had a 66 327 in my old Camaro that was a forged crank.
