Thanks - I've got some pictures and write ups here on my website.

It's basically a Whipple hot rod kit with a GM compatible EFI throttle body (all GM EFI components fit). I'm running the Holley Commander 950 unit. The distributor is the short MSD crab-cap style distributor since I was worried about vertical clearance in that area.

I read your home page. I keep waiting and hoping that FI will continue to improve to the point where it it will be near plug and play. Would you switch to a different brand of ECU?

I'm not sure I'd get any additional benefit from switching at this point, since the setup I have is "batch" fire. If I went to a different engine that had port type injection, I could take advantage of a sequential system.

I'd still like the ability to be able to control some aspects, like air/fuel ratio at certain rpms. (Some days you feel like power and other days you feel like economy, etc.) A plug and play system wouldn't be able anticipate my needs, so it would involve a compromise between performance and ease of use.

Mine should be OK until some future generation of controller comes out with a bunch of yet unforeseen features.

Winter and a rebuild is on the way for my 434 Motown small block. Today was 70 and dry so I went out and tried to use up the gas. Just a joy to thrash with the new Kumho's. I need to go to the 70 mile away drag strip. They have an open day next Sat. for test and tune. I still have my line lock from my auto tranny days. So I will strap on a set of rear 27X12 road racing slicks and see what it can do.
