Who make the best service manuels for the vette. I ordered a childons for my 1980, but is there another one I would want to have as well?

Throw away the generic ones and buy the year-specific GM shop manuals for your car. Available from most of the catalogs or on Ebay.

Buy a 'reprint' copy of the original Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual. That and a copy of the A.I.M. (Assembly Instruction Manual from the factory) are the primary documents you need to do work on your car.

Chiltons and Haynes aren't worth the money.
