Been waiting for final pics. Well worth the wait.
Now get out there and drive the **** out of it and enjoy.
Did just that today! I am putting Bruiser in a car show here in Houston next weekend and they don't allow more than 1/4 tank of gas so I just HAD to go out and drive him around!
Here are some pics taken today. The tires and wheels still need to be washed and dressed which will really make the car pop but here it is this morning. Thanks to Carbon Fiber Tony in our group for the great pics.
The car has turned out great, definitely a sweet ride. I have never heard
of a car show limiting the amount of fuel to a quarter tank, You must be going to
one of those indoor shows, well, ain't we fancy.
Your car is first class all the way, I hope you have a great time enjoying Bruiser every
chance you get, I have really enjoyed watching the build of this great car.
I look forward to seeing more about Bruiser in the future.
On my Z06, HRE's were 2000.00 a piece. I got this entire set of 4, custom offsets and all in 4 days for 1500 including shipping. They did an awesome job for me. AWESOME! I had the spokes and the back side of the wheel powder coated a gunmetal silver at my local powder coat place.
Here is a finished rear wheel before tire mounting:

Would you be able to tell me the wheel and tire size plus offset with those flares? Please.
We will be in Houston on the 6th of Dec. Maybe you can swing by during those couple of weeks. NH would be bad either. Then you could come by and check out the shop. We are only 45 minutes from the NH/MA border.
As far as the cutouts, we will see what they look like when we get there. Usualy we instal the bar,and then very carefuly keep trimming little by little till we have just enough clearance for the lid to shut properly.
Stan runs an amazing shop, and is one of the truest 'corvette' guys out there. He helped me out big time a few years ago so I could get my car on the road.
Nice car Snowman and all involved in the build. I've been watching this on the forum for a while. I am scared to chop up my LT1 body, but maybe someday .............
Maybe you store your LT1 body and start with another? That guy who owns one of the 5 original GrandSports did just that. Stored the original body and made himself a new one! Anything is possible.
