Merry Christmas to everyone
I need information or a pic' of the reinforcement bracket of the plastic pedal that push the headlight dimmer switch, 72 vert.
It has 4 holes, 2 holes for rivets to attach reinforcement bracket to the fiberglass and the other two for screw/rivets to hold the plastic pedal to the bracket.
I need to know if to use rivets or screws to attach the plastic pedal and if there are two screws do they have weld nuts on the reinforcement bracket.
Is the plastic pedal above or under the carpet?
Thanks
Avner
Hi A,
On my 71 there is a plate riveted to the underbody for the 2 screws that hold the dimmer switch in place.
The plastic pedal is riveted to a metal plate that is riveted to the under body. The pedal mounts, and operates under the carpet.
Merry Christmas!
Regards,
Alan
