Diff Front Mount, Rubber or Poly?

I emailed Energy Suspension and they asked me to call them with my question. I will post my results here when I find out the answer. Neadless to say I am impressed that they got back to me so quickly and wanted to speak to me. Jack

just installed my van steel rubber mount sunday. it was a pain to install. before i got the old rubber out i had to loosen the bracket bolts and removed the front bolt completely. then made the swap easily but i had a hell of a time getting the front bolt back in. just would not line up but was real close. i compaired the old rubber bushing bottom to the new van steel one and the van steel ones was about 1/8 to 3/16 thicker than the old one (might be the old one had compressed but did not look like it). i think the difference in height caused me the trouble but i finially got it back in with a friend prying on it while i pushed the bolt in. did it with everything on the car including the drive shaft.

I spoke with Energy Suspension today. I was informed that the kit I purchased did not come with a washer for the lower cushion. I was told that there were several versions but that was about it. It was suggested that I use a large washer for the bottom poly cushion. Now I am more confused than I was before.
