Need Some Pictures
I have a '69, so anything close to that should help. I would like some pictures of the inside of the three rear storage compartments. I would like to work on repairing the horn alarm, the light in the middle one, and so see how the battery is supposed to be secured. These are some projects I am starting to work on. I have five wires back there that are not connected to anything. Happy New Year.

I'm in Richmond too and have 69 convertible. The correct light is in any of the vette supply mags like Zip, Ecklers etc. You should have a accuator and the light as well as a wiring harness that comes in between the center and jack compartment. My alarm has one red wire that comes directly from the keyed switch. The horn itself is grounded to the frame below where it is mounted in the fenderwell. It does not look too factory to me, kinda rigged. My battery hold down is the type that screws to the floor of the compartment and grabs the bottom of the battery at the front and wedges it against the rear battery stop. I tried to snap a few pictures, but didn't come out too good. I actually in Mechanicsville and you are more that welcome to check it out some time. Let me know.

Pictures will be a big help; the things you're asking about (plus a whole lot more) are illustrated in the AIM. You might consider buying one, it's really worth the few $$ it costs.
