Wiper adjustment
Is there an adjustment on the wipers? My wipers go out to far-across the outside window trim(wears the black paint off). They come down in the center ok and park ok. There doesn't seem to be any play in the wiper linkages. Can you shorten the stroke? This is on an '82'.

I'm not sure about the 82 model, but on my 73 the adjustment is made with the horizontal rods attached to the wiper motor shaft.
Lossen the two nuts and slide the horizntal rod side to side.

Hi RM,
In East's picture the screw you see on the side of the thickest part of the wiper arm (about 8" from the wiper transmission), is called screw 'A' in the AIM wiper setting instructions, and is used to adjust how close to the a-pillar trim the wiper blade sweeps.
