There any differences between BB trans crossmember and one from a smallblock??? After installing, looking from the side the BB and 350 turbo seems lower at front of engine than it did with SB with 350 turbo.
The BB is few inches longer than the SB and that'll change where the crank pulley sites when mounted on the original mounts. BTW, I don't think I'd run a TH350 with a BBC....
Itl hold till I do the manual conversion. Ive played with the brackets some, and ill tell ya i didnt think it would be this easy.Think Im going to wind up building a custom trans crossmember. Juststart from sratch.
I understood the only difference in C3's was fixed (welded in) trans crossmembers for clutch cars and removable trans crossmembers for automatic equipped cars.
Engine size wasn't the defining factor and please correct me if that's wrong.

You are correct. No need to modify or change crossmembers.
