That's the one. From the sounds of it, something is out of whack, and it's worth a shot. What's the worst that could happen....you have to change the gasket again?
flynhi, are you talking about the rod that goes between the 2 tie rod ends on each side? it looked fine to me. Should I still replace it? I will try that RTV for the tranny gasket.
Are you sure it isn't leaking from the gear selector shaft? I replaced my pan gasket but it turned out to be the seal on the selector shaft that was leaking.

I Was going to ask the same thing.. I went through 3 pans and 4 gaskets before we figured out it was the shifter shaft o ring..

flynhi. I see what you mean. I will buy one. I guess I should do it all if I am going to do it right. I will investigate this gear selector shaft. Not sure what it is or where it is.
