Body drop was done last week - I was surprised at how easy it was.
Finished chassis heading over to body/paint shop
Glad I decided to bite the cash bullet on the TKO600
I was more than a little nervous with the freshly painted body suspended like that. Original color was #986 cortez silver so I stayed close with 2000 Corvette sebring silver metallic.
I have 17x8 wheels I had planned to fit but after seeing her with her original TTII 15x8's I kinda like the old school look-
Decided to replace all wiring as well - might even get the fiber optics working
I am at 15 months and counting on this project and very eager to get her finished in time for Spring in Dallas
Hi E69,
Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures.
It's really fun to see what people are working on and what progress they're making.
In my book 15 months is pretty quick!

Great looking car. It is going to be well worth it in the end. If you are doing all new wiring harnesses, you will be doing the fiber optics too. My rear harness came with the FO already installed. All I did was install new clean lenses and the little rubbers that keep it all together. Works great.
It is a Vette only shop - they have been working the body while I have been assembling the chassis/drivetrain at home.
15 months is not that long considering some projects I have seen but it has been an eternity for me. I am fortunate in that I have not had to spend countless hrs doing bodywork in prep for paint.
The FO were inop and I was not planning on messin with them but I did buy all new harnesses - so it looks like I'm gonna get them working
I plan to replace some of the interior as it goes back into the car will need to fit shoulder harnesses as well.
