Has anyone done business with Zip? I understand Forem members get a 5% discount but I requested a catalog back in October and have been getting the "It will be available next month" routine ever since. In the mean time I have spent a few thousand with Ecklers and Corvette America. Do they supply parts quicker than they supply catalogs? I'm leary about using them based on the service, ot lack thereof, so far.
Their online store is pretty good. More importantly though, if there is something that you are looking for, go to the zip forum section and ask about it. West is good about getting info or pics if you need them.
Service has been great and shipping has been quick too.
I have spent at least 4K in the restoration of my '70 coupe with Zip and have been very pleased with them. I even drove up to their store to pick up the first batch of parts. When I call with an order, it's normally in stock and ships out at the latest the next day. I would highly recommend them. Gosh, for the amount of money I've spent with them, they should send me a Christmas card every year!

Absolutely top notch & very professional. I don't want to know how much I've spent there, but between Greg & I it's well into the thousands. They're polite and curteous on the phone. The staff is willing to tell me 'Hang on, I'll grab one off the shelf' to answer my nit pickey NCRS questions. :) And the one time I wasn't happy with the quality of a part they sent a UPS pickup for it within a few days and my return showed up on my Visa by the time I got the next statement.
... I don't think I have a print catalog from them
Too bad.. cause their system diagrams are well illustrated, and are taken out of service and AIM manuals. Helps with ordering the correct parts, and helped me in repairing stuff before I got the Service or AIM manuals.
