1968 What's missing?

1968 What's missing?
Passenger side firewall. Two holes. What goes there? The car is an early 1968 427/400 PS, PB, no A/C.

These are the only pictures I've got of that area right now, this is from a '68 convertible smallblock without AC if it matters. I can go out tomorrow and take more shots tomorrow if needed. I have no idea what those 2 holes are for.

Maybe to attach the splash shields, although I thought they were in a different location.

In my 1st picture I believe those 2 riveted pieces are for the splash shields.

Bottom two were added sometime during the cars life. The top ones are carpet plugs.
