Window defog not working

Window defog not working
I have a 1981 Coupe with the rear window defogger elements on the glass. The switch on the console lights up, but the defogger does not work.
Does anyone know where I should look to troubleshoot this malfunction?

If the switch lights up, it's obviously getting power, so that takes care of the fuse. The next place to look is at the plug to the switch though. It can be making connection for the power, but not for the window. Just pull the console side and it's right there. The next place to look is at the actual connections at the window. Use a volt meter. I'm not sure what it should be pulling, but it should be more that zero!! If that doesn't work, shoot me a PM, I have a service manual and I'm not far from Orange park.
