can someone explain this to me?
i have a 1980 and i dont understand why there is vaccum lines going to the headlight switch and then out to the pulldown switch from there? what is the purpose of this? My headlights are stuck in the up position and i dont think there is a leak in the vaccum. any suggestions?

Hi TJ,
The purpose of the over-ride switch is to open the headlight doors without the headlights switched on or leave them open with the lights switched off. So the over-ride needs to be in the closed position for the headlight switch to close the doors when the lights go off.
