I have Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's on my 82, which is a everyday driver, and these are the best tires I have found so far. They are much better on wet roads than the Eagle II's or the T/A's. Greatly reduced the tire squeal while hard cornering also.

Funny to hear all these stories , I ran Goodyears and had bad luck with them! and was pretty lucky with the BF Goodrich, I wanted Goodyears but can't get them here in Ottawa,Ron
